The bridge at Welwyn North Station is one of the few surviving original
LNER structures in the area. Unfortunately having been constructed
in the early 1900's it is now becoming unsafe. Work was
carried out to strengthen the bridge so that it will last another
few years until around 2006 when it will be replaced when the station is
rebuilt. |
