With a spare day a trip to the Lickey was planned to suss out the location for the next weekends class 40 tour, and whilst I was out why not got the Bag 'O Spanners on tour too
43000 A First Great Western HST heads east through Manor Farm, Chosley
165136 With the power station dominating the Didcot Skyline 165136 potters towards the station
43000 FGW HSTs a plenty at Didcot
43000 Two eastbound HSTs work towards London passing Moreton East Cutting
03220 5A Virgin Cross Country Voyager makes its way east through Moreton, Didcot
03220 Not a great shot but still quite a mix of Great Western Main line passenger power.. A Virgin Voyager, a HST and a Western
52015 D1015 hauls the Pathfinder tour through Moreton towards Didcot

Tour in the bag.. off to the Lickey to get some XC HST workings.
60023 With a loaded steel train for the Welsh Works 60023 rolls down the Lickey towards Bromsgrove
220030 A Virgin Voyager duet makes light work of the Lickey Incline
221103 A virgin Voyager rolls down the Lickey towards Bromsgrove
43000 Summer is back and so is the Virgin Cross Country (XC) HST workings, here a Virgin class 43 power car leads a MML livered set towards Bromsgrove.

66150 A Shed powers up the climb whilst a Virgin XC HST rolls down

With some Lickey action in the bag it was a trip over to see the diverted WCML workings, if only I had remembered that the bridge at Whitacre Junction has been rebuilt making the shot a pale version of its former self.
57313 Tracy Island57313 drags the heritage repaint 87001 through Whitacre Junction - a shot spoiled by the addition of the oh so useful palisade fence.
