Beechbrook Farm
Sunday, 30th June, 2002

Work on the Channel Tunnel Rail link continues apace now. Most of the ballast work is being hauled by Freightliner owned 66/5's working from the holding are at Beech Brook Farm just outside of Ashford.
The locomotives can be viewed from the roadway and over bridge with a couple of off road parking spaces close by.
For the best view, leave the M20 at Junction 9, and follow the signs for the A20, but as if you were doubling back on yourself. After a few more roundabouts, and about 1 mile, the yard will appear on the right. There are 2 parking bays, one on each side of the road, just after the yard.
