The 2004 North Yorkshire Moors Diesel Gala

Between Friday 23rd and Sunday 25th of April the North Yorkshire Moors Railway between Pickering and Grosmont hosted a gala event running only diesel traction. Due to problems obtaining air braked coaching stock only heritage traction was running during the event.
Whilst this made the event slightly less colourful than the previous years event it was no less enjoyable.

Saturday - Grosmont Depot	As with all good galas the day ends with some refreshments in the local tavern in the evening and then begins again at 06:30 to get those all important sunrise glint shots.	Saturday, 24th April, 2004
